A POPULAR music event helped to raise £2,247 for Cancer Research UK.

Live Wire 4 is an annual event held in memory of Pam Webber who died of cancer.

This year it was held at St Mary's Church Hall, in Countess Close, Harefield, on Saturday (20).

Vic Webber, one of the event organisers, said: "A great atmosphere with disco, dance and rock and roll music made the evening a success.

"I would like to thank everyone behind the scenes who gave up their time to help as well as the performers and of course the audience who turned up in support.

"Preparations are already underway for next year's efforts."

We'd like to hear from you.
