Be on guard against fake charity collectors

RESIDENTS are being warned to be on their guard against giving out donations to fake charity collectors.

A number of people living in Harefield have reported receiving leaflets through the door from charities which may not be all they seem.


Often the leaflets are from Eastern European gangs who take the donated clothes to sell on for a profit at car boot fairs.

If in doubt about a potential scam contact Consumer Direct on 0845 4 04 05 06.
