Party for Harefield Hospital will go ahead despite yobs lighting bonfire two weeks early

A PARTY in aid of Harefield Hospital will go ahead despite intruders maliciously lighting the bonfire two weeks early.

The event will take place at the Horse & Barge Pub in Moor Hall Road, Harefield, this Saturday, November 7, not Monday 9 as reported in last week's Gazette.

Landlord Don McCallion, 76, said: "The bonfire is now even larger than its original height of 12ft, thanks to the help of all the kind people who heard about our plight."
